Privacy Policy

Who I am

tamerkaram.com is the website of Dr. Tamer Karam (“I”, “me”), strategy advisor, trainer and mentor. I am responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, write to tamer@tamerkaram.com.

What I collect

Information you give me.

• Enquiries. The enquiry forms on this site prepare an email in your own email app. I receive only what you choose to send, usually your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, company, role, country, and what you write about your situation.
• Newsletter. Your email address, if you subscribe.
• Sessions and programmes. If you book a mentorship session or work with me, your contact details, booking and billing details, and what you share in sessions, documents and messages.

Information collected automatically. This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. The hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested and time) for security and operation.

How I use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call or meeting.
• To deliver, schedule and invoice sessions, programmes and engagements.
• To send the newsletter you asked for.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and I do not use it for advertising.

Confidentiality

What you share in mentorship sessions and advisory work is confidential. I do not share it with your employer or anyone else without your permission, unless the law requires it. Client names are withheld from the case studies on this site.

Who I share it with

Only the service providers needed to do the work, such as email, calendar and scheduling, video calls, messaging (for example WhatsApp) and payment providers. Each handles your information under its own terms. Card details are processed by the payment provider; I never see or store them.

I may also disclose information if the law, a court or a public authority requires it.

How long I keep it

• Enquiries that do not become work: up to 24 months after our last contact.
• Client records: for the length of the engagement and the period the law requires for tax and accounting.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask me to give you a copy of the personal information I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a purpose you agreed to. Write to tamer@tamerkaram.com and I will reply within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email.

Depending on where you live, data protection law may give you further rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Security and transfers

I use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Some service providers may process information outside your country.

Children

This site and my services are intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Other websites

Links to LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other sites take you outside this website. Their own privacy policies apply there.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
